Descriptions
One line
Limelight is an app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that lets you discover movies and TV shows, see where they're streaming, and track what you've watched.
Short
Limelight is an app for discovering and tracking movies and TV shows on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It pulls information from many sources, not just TMDB, into one place. See where a title is streaming, what's in the Netflix or HBO Max Top 10 today, and ratings from Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb, Metacritic, and TMDB side by side. Find out which movies and shows started as books. No ads, privacy focused.
Long
Limelight is a native Swift and SwiftUI app for discovering and tracking movies and TV shows on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It pulls data from many sources, not just TMDB, and brings it all together in one place. See where a title is streaming right now in your country and what's in the Netflix or HBO Max Top 10 today. Compare ratings from Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb, Metacritic, and TMDB side by side, and find out which movies and shows started as books. Upload a short clip and SceneSnap uses AI to identify the movie or show and who's in it. Release notifications tell you when a movie opens in theaters or a new episode drops. Your Watchlist, Seen List, and custom lists sync across devices. SceneSnap, Top 10 charts, multi-source ratings, and release notifications are part of Limelight+. No ads, privacy focused. Limelight is built by Jordan Kennedy, an independent developer in Nashville, Tennessee.
